World University Service (WUS) Health Centre (HC) was commissioned by World University Service, a Geneva based international Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in March, 1955. Subsequently, three more Health Centres in South Campus (02.01.1978), East Delhi (30.03.1986) and West Delhi (01.05.1983) were commissioned with assistance from University Grants Commission (UGC) and are fully operational.

Surrounded by tall lush green trees WUS Health Centre in North Campus is still an abode for peacocks and other birds which are often seen on the parapet and roof of the building.
