Rules For Enrolment For WUS Health Centre Membership

How To Enroll As A Member of the WUS Health Centre :

  1. It is mandatory for all the employees (Teaching and Non-teaching) of University and its affiliated Colleges residing within the vicinity of 8 kms. of North Campus or South Campus Health Centre respectively to become member of WUS Health Centre to enable them to avail the facility of OPD treatment at the Health Centre.
  2. If a pensioner intends to avail medical reimbursement facilities after her/his retirement, s/he must enroll herself/himself as member of WUS Health Centre by depositing the requisite charges online at http://fee.du.ac.in/index.php/site/login .
  3. The details of Authorised Medical Attendants (AMAs) is available on University of Delhi website i.e. http://www.du.ac.in/index.php?page=Health-Centre .
  4. The facility of AMAs is not available to the pensioners of the University of Delhi and its constituent Colleges.
  5. For claiming the medical reimbursement by the employees/pensioners of University of Delhi and its affiliated colleges, the rates of monthly Health Centre Contribution (HCC) for membership of WUS Health Centre w.e.f. 01.02.2017 are as follows :

  1. It is the responsibility of the primary member of WUS Health Centre to ensure that the requisite HCC is deducted each month from her / his salary.
  2. WUS Health Centre Contribution (HCC) is non-refundable.
  3. If an employee has not taken ‘No Dues Certificate’ from WUS Health Centre while going on deputation to another Organization, her/his membership will be treated as continued and will have to pay HCC recoveries.
  4. Three months grace period is given after retirement to get the Health Centre card made:Two conditions may arise :
  • (a) If a Pensioner beneficiary does not have a WUS Health Centre card and treatment is taken within the grace period of three months from the date of retirement then reimbursement of incurred expenses will be allowed subject to the condition that the beneficiary has either obtained or applied for WUS Health Centre membership with all concerned/connected documents and requisite HCC deposited within one month of expiry of  the  grace period of three months.
  • (b) If a Pensioner beneficiary does not have a WUS Health Centre card and the treatment is taken after the grace period of three months from the date of retirement then reimbursement will not be allowed unless she/he has applied for Health Centre card with all concerned documents and paid requisite HCC prior to seeking such treatment.
